This week José Andrés is in Haiti with the Solar for Hope project, an initiative to bring solar kitchens to Haiti. José and his friends are currently traveling around Haiti showing people how to set up and use these solar kitchens. In a country that has been through a devastating earthquake and suffered severe deforestation, harnessing the power of sun for cooking is a simple way to help ensure that people have hot meals.
